Seaburn is Sunderland’s seaside resort, with a long sandy beach, a promenade and cafés and restaurants along the seafront. The seafront has seen a lot of new investment in recent years.

Seaburn Metro station links the area to the city centre and Newcastle, and the coast road runs north to Whitburn and South Shields.
